If you place on online order, and enter your email address, you are “automatically” enrolled in a “VIP Club” that will charge you 14.95 a month unless you cancel within FIVE days. I check the balance on the credit card I used (actually, I don’t recall making any purchase so that is fraudulent as well).

Because my CC is my flight miles card, Serengeti was using my miles to pay themselves immediately upon making the automatic charge. Accordingly, my balance was always “0”. I’ve now discovered they also did this to my 83 year old mother two years ago when she ordered me a shirt from them for Christmas. In reviewing her statement, they have charged her $388.70 over 26 months.

They refuse to refund this money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH #Serengeti
